IEA Team ~ By The Bay Equestrian

Join our Team before November 2018!

Lessons are held on Thursdays at 5:30!

Its time to sign up with By The Bay Equestrian IEA Team!

The team is a great way to excel in riding as well as an affordable way to participate in horse shows. You do not need your own horse to join or compete as we have plenty. At competition, horses are supplied by the horse show host team! This is a wonderful oppurtunity to ride many different horses!

Team practices are held at Secret Pride Stables on Thursday evenings at 5:30

Weekly practices are $35 and students are encouraged to lesson at least twice a month. Ride Weekly at a discounted rate of $120/month!

Here are some Guidelines to consider when you sign up for IEA:
  • There are both Middle and High School Teams and we try to place one team member in each division for the season so we have a "Team"
  • The show calendar (September - March) is subject to change so you may need to be flexible when considering what shows to participate in
  • Each rider must compete in 5 shows in order for their points count and accumulate an individual point total of 18 points to qualify for regionals
  • Each team must accumulate 20 points to qualify for regionals as a Team
  • At each show the coaches choose a point rider for each class - this rider helps the team accumulate points for that show
  • It is important to attend shows as a team so we are more successful!
  • While we recommend our riders attend our weekly lessons, it is required that you ride in at least two lessons a month and mandatory to participate in the lesson before a show
  • We encourage our team to be good team players, committed, and active throughout the whole show season
